![]() ![]() ![]() I can anticipate that at some point they will need to transfer files into or out of these VMs. Only whitelisted network access to specific IP ranges and domains required for their testing. The VMs will not have full internet access. They will not have admin access on their host workstation so that should also prevent them from changing these settings. They will be firewalled off so that there is no network connection or any way to directly transfer files between their host workstation and the VM. The virtual machines will be at least Windows 7 and will all be joined to a separate untrusted domain. We are considering setting up a separate network VLAN for virtual machines that will be used by developers so they can work with full admin access on these VMs on a segregated network without putting our office and production networks at risk and vice versa.
